Breaking Down Oxygen Infusing Benefits By Skin Type

Date

Let’s break down the six common skin types, characteristics of each, and how an oxygen infusing regimen can target the problems individually linked to each unique skin type.

Oxygen Infusing Benefits by Skin Type

Dry

Patients with dry skin often struggle with a rough, aged appearance. Their skin can be flaky, even scaly to the touch. Wrinkles are more prominent. It’s common for dry skin patients to complain of sensitivity or discomfort. If the patient lives in a very cold, dry climate, it can be even more challenging to keep their skin properly hydrated to combat their dryness.

For patients with dry skin, we recommend the ECHO2 Oxygen Infusing Treatment once a month. The 45-minute facial infuses millions of oxygen molecules per second with our proprietary blend of concentrated vitamins and minerals. ECHO2 leaves the skin soft, dewy, and rejuvenated. Follow up at-home with Oxygen Lab Damage Control cream to deliver moisture and hydrating nutrients, in addition to oxygen, back into the skin daily.

Oily

Patients with oily skin deal with a shiny appearance. The face can look and feel greasy to the touch. Oily skin patients are also more likely to have larger, more visible pores. They can struggle more with persistent acne or surprise breakouts.

For patients with oily skin, replenishing oxygen levels into the skin is critical. Oxygen is proven to kill the bacteria that causes acne (a problem frequently associated with oily skin types). Cell turnover is also very important for oily skin. In tandem with ECHO2 , patients struggling with oily skin should use our Cell Fuel cream. Cell Fuel spreads easily, will not clog pores, and is absorbed quickly (great for patients with large pores). Cell Fuel goes deep into the skin. It is best used each morning, prior to application of a sunscreen, but may be used as frequently as desired.

Combination

Characterized by areas of dry skin (cheeks and hairline), and areas of oily skin (T-zone, forehead, nose, and chin). Combination skin patients can struggle with finding appropriate skincare products to manage their mix of oily and dry spots.

An oxygen infusing skin regimen is perfect for patients with combination skin. All our Oxygen Lab formulations are designed to replenish the skin’s oxygen level while adding skin nourishing vitamins. Our ECHO2 facial treatment and at-home products are noncomedogenic but also extremely hydrating. So your patient experiences healthy cellular turnover (oily skin) and deep hydration (dry skin) in addition to the power of oxygenation.

Sensitive Skin

Patients with sensitive skin may complain of stinging, burning, or itching after using some makeup’s, moisturizers, exfoliants, cleansers, or other products. They’re more likely to experience areas of redness, discoloration, and breakouts. They typically require skincare products that are extremely gentle, more natural, and free of harsh chemicals.

Oxygen Lab’s ECHO2 oxygen infusing treatments and home skincare products are all of the above. Extremely gentle, natural, and free of harsh chemicals that might irritate the sensitive skin. Rather than sifting through product after product for something gentle enough, try ECHO2 for your sensitive skin patients. ECHO2 gives your sensitive skin patient everything the skin needs in one treatment (exfoliation, cleansing, hydration, and oxygenation).

Normal

Characterized by a balanced appearance, clear, and not sensitive. Some people are just lucky, right? Well, as a skin professional, you very well know that normal skin patients are not immune to aging. And, as normal skin patients age, the healthy level of oxygen in their skin begins to slowly diminish just like everyone else.

But, the restorative power of oxygen is undeniable. Oxygen Lab test patients demonstrated a 30% reduction in area of fine lines, 25% reduction in total area of wrinkles, and 17% reduction in total number of wrinkles in just 1 hour after using Oxygen Lab skincare. After 84 days of using the complete Oxygen Lab™ skincare regimen, some patients saw a 60% reduction in class 3 (110-880 micrometer) wrinkles, 11% reduction in class 2 (55um-110um), Elasticity (tonicity) improved 78%, Hydration was improved by 20%.

Hyper-Pigmented

Hyper-pigmented patients have darker patches or spots due to excess production of melanin. For some patients, hyper-pigmentation is a product of their genetic makeup. Other times, after the skin is burned, blistered, or infected, a patient’s body can’t replace melanin in the area that is damaged.

For postinflammatory hyperpigmentation, Oxygen Lab products are specifically formulated to help diminish and reverse signs of UV damage, uneven skin tone, and discoloration. By increasing the oxygen level, we can improve the skin’s ability to reduce hyperpigmentation and skin damage from the sun’s UV rays resulting in a more even skin tone.
